Adding your Business Insurance details to your Worker Checks Business Portal helps maintain a complete compliance record for your organisation.
You can upload your insurance certificates, update expiry dates, and make them visible to your compliance dashboard for easy auditing.
🧾 1️⃣ Why Add Your Business Insurance #
Keeping your insurance details current ensures your business stays compliant with contract and accreditation requirements.
Worker Checks allows you to record and track:
- 📑 Public Liability Insurance
- 🧰 Professional Indemnity Insurance
- 👷 Workers Compensation / WorkCover Insurance
Your details are securely stored and available to your management team for audit or renewal reminders.
🖥️ 2️⃣ How to Add or Update Your Insurance Details #
- Log in to your Worker Checks Business Portal ›.
- Click on Business Portal tab in the Top Menu
- Go to the “Business Settings” tab.
- Click on “Insurance” or “Add Business Insurance.”
- Enter the following details:
- Insurance provider
- Policy number
- Expiry date
- Coverage amount (if applicable)
- Upload a copy of your certificate of currency (PDF or image file).
- Click Save to update your records.
🔄 3️⃣ Updating Expired or Renewed Policies #
When your insurance renews:
- Simply click Edit beside the existing record.
- Upload your new certificate and update the expiry date.
Worker Checks will automatically overwrite the old document while retaining the audit history.
🧩 4️⃣ How It Appears in Your Dashboard #
Once added, your insurance information will:
- Display under your Business Compliance Summary
- Show the policy type and expiry date
- Trigger renewal notifications when approaching expiry
This helps ensure your organisation remains compliant and audit-ready at all times.
