How Long Is a National Police Check Valid?
A National Police Check is a point-in-time certificate. It shows your criminal history status on the date it is issued. There is no fixed expiry date set by ACIC; instead, each organisation decides how recent the certificate must be (for example, within 3, 6 or 12 months).
