Refunds & Cancellation
Worker Checks Criminal History Checks are commissioned once an order is submitted and the relevant purchase price has been paid by the client. If a check is put into progress, then Worker Checks is irrevocably committed to incurring charges payable to third party suppliers and associated processing costs. If a client cancels a check after the check is put into progress, no refund or credit will be provided.
Delays
Worker Checks has no control over the turnaround time of any police check (Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check, International Criminal History check or Australian Federal Police Check). It can take anywhere from 1 hour one business day to 15+ business days to process a Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check.
Once a police check has been submitted to the Australian Criminal Intelligence Commission National Police Checking Service or the AFP, Worker Checks has no control over how long it takes to process and complete the check process.
Data Accuracy – Application
Worker Checks do not offer refunds except where required by Australian Consumer Law. By paying for a criminal history check through Worker Checks, you have read and accepted all the terms and conditions provided on our website and you:
- Have gained confirmation that our police check will be accepted for the purposes in which you intend on using it;
- Are agreeing to provide true and correct information;
- Have completed the online application accurately and thoroughly;
- Have provided the necessary ID as per the minimum ID requirements.
Worker Checks is not responsible for:
– Data entry errors that have been made by persons inputting their own details into the application for a criminal history check;
– Persons who have changed their mind after partially or fully completing the application process;
– Selection of the wrong check type and/or reason for check;
– Lack of detail provided by persons inputting their own details into the application for a criminal history check;
– False/Incorrect information provided by persons into the application for a criminal history check;
– Not thoroughly completing the online application process;
– Not providing the necessary ID as per the minimum ID requirements.
Worker Checks cannot alter any information in:
– your police check application after it has been submitted
– your police check result.
If you have entered any details incorrectly and require changes to the information rendered in your Criminal History Check Certificate / result, you will have to resubmit your application at full price.
