How we compare

Worker Checks vs other ACIC-accredited providers

Every NCCHC draws on the same national database and carries the same legal validity, so the real differences come down to price, speed and whether a business portal is included.

Worker Checks pricing and turnaround are current and confirmed, and include GST with no additional processing or transaction fees at checkout — the price shown is what you pay. Competitor prices and turnaround times are approximate, reflect each provider’s public information (July 2026), and are a general guide only. Some competitors advertise a lower base price but add GST and/or transaction fees at checkout. Always confirm the final checkout total directly with each provider before applying. Government providers (AFP, state police) are GST-exempt. See the full breakdown on our police check providers comparison.

How long is an NCCHC valid for?

An NCCHC is a point-in-time certificate showing your criminal history status on the date it’s issued. There’s no fixed expiry set by ACIC — each organisation decides how recent the certificate must be, commonly within 3, 6 or 12 months.

A note on certificate display Worker Checks displays your most recent NCCHC certificate for viewing and sharing for 3 months. After 3 months it’s deemed “non-current” and removed from the workerchecks.com system, so it’s no longer available for display. You’ll receive a notification email before this happens. See the Mga Tuntunin sa Paggamit para sa karagdagang impormasyon.
