Eligibility for a Volunteer Police Check
A volunteer police check can be requested if the applicant:
- Holds the position or performs the role voluntarily for the common good.
- Is not an employee or contractor and does not receive a salary or other entitlements, except for out-of-pocket expenses.
- Is a student undertaking a compulsory unpaid vocational placement as part of an Australian-based educational institution’s training course.
