Yes. An NCCHC covers all Australian states and territories. It draws from a national database, so the result is valid anywhere in Australia regardless of where you live or which provider you used.

Are all ACIC-accredited police checks the same?

Yes. Every NCCHC issued by an accredited body uses the same National Police Checking Service database and carries the same legal validity. The differences between providers relate to price, turnaround, user experience and additional services, not the certificate itself.

A note on the ACT Residents of the Australian Capital Territory and Jervis Bay Territory are required to obtain their police check through the Australian Federal Police (AFP) rather than an ACIC-accredited provider like Worker Checks.
