常见问题

常见问题

Do I need a Pakistan police check even if I have lived in Australia for many years?
Yes. If you lived in Pakistan for six or more consecutive months at any point as an adult, employers in regulated Australian industries may still require a Pakistan international criminal history check. This is standard practice in aged care, disability support, healthcare, and education sectors regardless of how long ago you lived in Pakistan.
What is the difference between a Pakistan Police Character Certificate and this check?
A Pakistan Police Character Certificate is issued through the Pakistani consulate or local police and is generally used for visa and immigration purposes. The Worker Checks Pakistan check is used for Australian employment screening — completed 100% online in 10–15 working days with no consulate visit required.
Can I use a Police Character Certificate for employer screening in Australia?
Some employers accept a Pakistan Police Character Certificate for employment screening, but many specifically require an international criminal history check from an Australian ACIC-accredited provider. Always confirm with your employer which format they require before applying.
这张支票是否适用于澳大利亚签证或移民申请？
No. For Australian visa applications requiring a Pakistan police check, you generally need an official Pakistan Police Character Certificate issued through the consulate or local police. The Worker Checks Pakistan check is for employment screening only.
Does my Pakistan police check expire?
Yes. Your certificate is stored securely in your Worker Checks CheckHub portal. You can download it as a PDF or share it electronically with your employer directly from the portal — no posting physical copies required.
